Home Warranty Checkup ("we," "us") operates this website, a consumer referral service that connects homeowners with home warranty providers and related home service companies. We are not a home warranty company and do not sell warranties or insurance.

Information you provide: name, email, phone number, ZIP code, state, and your answers about your home (ownership, property type, home and equipment ages, contact preferences).
Automatically collected: IP address, device and browser information, referral and ad-attribution parameters, page interactions, and timestamps.
Consent records: we use third-party consent verification (such as ActiveProspect TrustedForm) to document your session and the consent language you agreed to.

How we use and share it

To match you with, and share your information with, one or more of the home warranty and home service companies listed on our Marketing Partners page, who may contact you as described in the consent you provide at submission.
To contact you ourselves about your request, including by automated technology where you have consented.
To operate, measure, and improve our advertising and website.
To comply with legal obligations and to document consent.

We share your information with the partner(s) who receive your inquiry, our service providers (hosting, consent verification, communications platforms), and as required by law. We do not sell your information to unrelated data brokers.

State privacy rights: depending on your state, you may have rights to access, delete, or correct your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. Email us to exercise them; we honor verified requests as required by applicable law.

We retain lead and consent records as needed to service your request and to meet legal and contractual record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them. We use commercially reasonable safeguards; no method of transmission is 100% secure.
